Getting Familiar With Grad School

Before you apply to graduate school as an international student, consider what you hope to gain from further education, whether it is increased employment prospects, skills development, or other benefits. Some international students may want to apply to graduate school in the United States to continue their academic pursuits, while others may wish to apply to graduate schools internationally to gain a new educational experience.

If you plan to attend graduate school, it is also important to contact OISS to learn about transferring your record to your new school (see Post Graduation F-1 page for details).
