History of Career Services Open Access Fee
Over the years, Career Services has experienced significant budget cuts. Between existing and proposed cuts, Career Services has lost over 12% of its core funds from registration fees since 2008 on an annual basis. Through cost-cutting measures, charging employers for services, and utilizing unspent funds from previous years, the department has been able to continue offering high-quality service at the same level for UCSB students.
