that offer graduate study in Religious Studies.

Cal State University Long Beach
Offers a Masters in Religious Studies prepares
students for teaching about religion in high
schools, community colleges and for advanced
doctoral work in the field.
UC Santa Barbara
Offers three degree-granting graduate programs:
M.A./Ph.D.: This program is for students preparing
for university teaching and research careers.
Ph.D.: This program is for students transferring
to UCSB with a Master's degree in Religious
Studies or its equivalent and preparing for
a career in university teaching and research.
M.A. Plan II: This program is for students
wanting to learn more about religion for professional
or career development (for example, public
school teachers, journalists) not exclusively
related to university teaching and research.
This Master's degree does not lead to Ph.D.
work at UCSB.
Graduate Theological Union
A consortium of nine theological seminaries
and eight centers and affiliates. They are
also a graduate school offering academic programs
leading to the degrees of M.A., Ph.D., and
Th.D. in a wide range of fields in theology
and religious studies.
