Updating Letters

An updated letter will replace the outdated letter by the same author in your file. The outdated letter will no longer be mailed out.

Get a Reference Letter Authorization form that is either confidential or non-confidential (depending on what you chose) which is either printable here: Confidential / Non-Confidential or available at the Career Services office.

Fill out the top portion of this form and give it to your recommender. They will need to complete the bottom portion and send it to our office along with their letter. The letter and form can be emailed, faxed or mailed to us as long as all signatures are included, and both documents are together.

Retiring Letters

A request via email, fax or regular mail must be made to retire a letter from your file. A retired letter will no longer be mailed out.

Please use this format:

Name: Last, First
Letter to retire: Authors name
