Reference Letter Service Overview

This service stores your confidential or non-confidential letters of recommendations from professors and/or employers. At a candidate’s request, a copy of these documents are mailed to university admissions, educational institutions, or hiring officials.

Why use the Reference Letter Service?

  • If you plan to apply to numerous institutions, this service allows your letter writers to submit one letter that can be used to support multiple applications.

  • You, your institutions and your letter writers will be assured of the confidentiality and prompt mailing of your letters.

  • If you plan to apply in the future but would like to ask for letters now, the Reference Letter Service will keep your letters on file for FIVE (5) years (unless requested otherwise).
