What service would you highly recommend students utilize from Career Services?
I would highly recommend students to use the counselors becuase they have so much information that they can share with students. The counselors are there to help so students should take advantage of this great opportunity.

What is your major (minor if applicable) and why did you choose this area to study?
My major is Sociology and Chicano/a Studies. I chose Sociology because I realized that I like helping people and I want to help communities that need that extra support for children and low-income families. In addition, I also chose Chicano/a Studies becuase I wanted to learn more about my culture and background. I also want to be aware of the history that my ancestors had to go through in order to appreciate where I am in life today. This way I can compare my situation with the students or families that I will one day help.

What are your special hobbies / interests? What do you like to do for fun?
My special interest is to spend time with my family and friends which I love very much. In addition, for fun I enjoy spending time at socials with friends from LBA. Lastly, I like going for a run to the beach.

After graduation, what is your career goal?
After graduation, I plan on working for a non-profit organization that focuses in community improvement as well as in afterschool programs for children. I also hope on going to grad school for a public policy degree.
