What service would you highly recommend students utilize from Career Services?
I would definitely say the resume and cover letter critique. I have met a lot of people who had absolutely no idea what a resume should look like or what a cover letter should have in it. The career counselors not only give expert advice but really take the time to make you feel confident with what you've done.

What is your major (minor if applicable) and why did you choose this area to study?
I am a Political Science and Global Studies double major and am minoring in French. I have loved politics since a very young age and would love to work on international politics, more specifically in North Africa.

What are your special hobbies/interests? What do you like to do for fun?
Aside from politics, I love to sing and act. I've been in the UCSB Gospel choir for two of my three quarters here and was in a musical on campus last spring. I am the president of UCSB's only public speaking club.

After graduation, what is your career goal?
I really would love to go to law school. After that, I hope to enter into the political arena.
