Inside Sales Internship

This position is designed to promote the development of the successful candidate who has achieved the academic requirements and may have practical lab experience. The candidate will be given the opportunity and expected to learn and develop those skills necessary to perform all job duties. The position coordinates sales processes for assigned accounts, exclusively via the telephone, for an assigned territory. The candidate will understand and utilize the product features, benefits, and applications accompanied with selling skills to identify and qualify leads. They will initiate the sales process and successfully promote the sales of Companys products and services.

Essential Functions:

1. Demonstrate the use of excellent telemarketing skills, such as:
Starting off with a great opening pitch.
Establish a good repore with the customer.
Ask pre-qualified questions, to determine the customer needs.
And provide solutions through the use of our products, and closing the deal.

2. Conducting cold calls to develop new accounts.

3. Participate in marketing campaigns, & special projects to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Companys policies & procedures

4. Increase current customers database & develop relationships with new customers through Companys customer relation's management software (ACT).

5. Develop companys product knowledge and competitors' products sufficient to successfully conduct an effective telephone sales presentation.


Educational Requirements:
Master in the Life Sciences preferred
BA/BS in the Life Sciences. Required

Experience Requirements:
Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

$35K per year plus bonus
