Out for Undergraduate Business Conference
This annual conference will help GLBT undergraduate students lean how other "out" professionals have dealt with these same issues. Panelists will share insider knowledge about if, when, and how to come out in different professional situations, as well as strategies they’ve used to investigate companies’GLBT policies before joining a new organization.

ACLU Lesbian and Gay Rights
This site specifies the State and Local laws protecting lesbians and gay men against workplace discrimination.

GAYWORK
Find a job with a gay-friendly employer. Read articles on the world of gay-friendly employment.  Stay up-to-date and in touch with news, a calendar of events, and links to gay organizations and networking groups.

Human Rights Campaign
Information on workplace policies and laws surrounding sexual orientation and gender identity.  Includes a database of over 2,900, employers who have non-discrimination policies that include sexual orientation.  Download the current copy of "The State of the Workplace for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered America."

Lambda Legal Defense Educational Fund
Lambda Legal's Help desk staff respond directly to those seeking legal information assistance with discrimination related to sexual orientation, gender identity and HIV status.

PRIDENET
A gay, lesbian, transgender, and bisexual resource center.

Transgender at Work
Addresses workplace issues for the transgendered. Provides resources for transgendered workers, including a checklist for transitioning in the workplace and a list of companies that have formally stated they will not discriminate against transgendered or gender variant people.

F-SIX- The Financial Services Industry Exchange
Founded in 1983, FSIX promotes networking and socializing among gay and lesbian banking and finance professionals.

The National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association
An organization of journalists, online media professionals, and students that works from within the journalism industry to foster fair and accurate coverage of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues. NLGJA opposes workplace bias against all minorities and provides professional development for its members.

National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals Inc.
A national organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people (and their advocates) employed or interested in scientific or high technology fields.
