Summary of Job Duties
The successful candidate will provide career
counseling, interpret tests, provide workshops,
and advise students in individual and group settings
on the entire range of self-assessment, career
information, job search services, and career
counseling to all students. In addition, the
candidate will coordinate career development
for students in the physical and life sciences.
She/he will develop resources and research options
and opportunities for science students that will
result in internet postings, presentations and
print material. She/he will also work with and
distribute resources to appropriate departmental
personnel, faculty and students on individual
consultation.
Minimum Requirements
Masters degree in counseling,
career counseling or related, including coursework
on career assessments.
Demonstrated experience providing career counseling.
Experience in interpreting career related assessments
and in giving presentations. Desirable Requirements
Experience assisting with major events such as
career fairs.

Satisfactory completion
of a fingerprint background check
