For creative ways to build your company's profile on campus, please consider some of the options below. You can increase your company name recognition on campus and begin to build good repoire with UCSB's best students. Besides joining us as a Career Partner, consider the following:

  • Sponsorship Opportunities

  • UCSB Career Fairs
    For the ultimate recruiting experience, consider particpation in our career fairs. Our career fairs average over 800 students in attendance and is an excellent way to come face to face with potential hires! Click here for a list of upcoming career fairs.

  • GauchoLink
    Posting your PT/FT jobs or internships on GauchoLink, our online job posting service, is FREE and EASY! GauchoLink is a part of the NACElink Network, a non-profit service provided through an alliance of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, DirectEmployers Association, Symplicity, and numerous collaborating colleges, universities and employers across the country. To post a position, visit our website and click on the Employers link. Once you’ve registered, you will have full access to manage your account, post and remove positions, receive student resumes, as well as other service aimed at meeting your recruiting needs.

  • Company Information Sessions
    To promote your company, your job openings, or your internships, you might want to consider doing a company information session. Click here for more information. For a list of student organizations, visit the Office of Student Life's Student Organizations website.

  • Posters and Flyers
    Let students know you are coming to campus to recruit by posting an announcement! We have bulletin board space for your posters and flyers and help you distribute them on campus and to select departments and student organizations.

  • Student Newspaper
    The Daily Nexus is distributed free on campus by 8:00am to cirulation boxes located in high traffic areas. In Isla Vista, the local campus community, the Daily Nexus is distributed free from 75 locations including dorms and married student housing. With a circulation of 11,500 daily, The Daily Nexus is published Monday through Friday when the University is in session, with 135 publicatiion days throughout the academic year.   • TECH-OPPS
    If you seek students with technical skills, we encourage you to submit the information to a moderated mailing list called TECH-OPPS. The list has more than 1000 self-subscribed undergraduate and graduate students in Engineering and other high-tech disciplines who want up-to-the-minute information on companies, career trends, campus interviews, and special opportunities.
